Our school uniform is important to us. It is one way in which we identify ourselves as a school family and it
promotes a strong, cohesive school identity which supports high standards and expectations in all areas of
school life. Our policy on school uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:

•  Promotes a sense of pride in the school;
•  Engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school;
•  Is practical and smart;
•  Identifies the children with the school;
•  Prevents children from coming to school in fashion clothes that could be distracting or unsuitable in
• class;
•  Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
•  Is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money by most parents;
•  Is designed with health and safety in mind.

Uniform consists of:

• Purple sweatshirt or Cardigan 
• Plain grey or black trousers/skirt / pinafore dress
• White polo shirt
• In the summer months plain grey or black knee length shorts
• In the summer months purple gingham dresses
• Sensible shoes that are black in colour, no trainers.

PE Kit consists of:

•  Plain plimsolls/trainers
•  Black shorts
•  Purple round neck t-shirt (Hawsker)
•  Warm additional clothing such as a plain tracksuit, or purple hoodie are also required foroutdoor PE. Parents can choose to purchase a hoodie with the school logo and these are available to purchase vis the link on the school website.
